Torrie's First Word

Torrie reached a nice milestone today - she said "Mama" for the first time, and has continued to say it throughout the day. She seems to know what it means. She hasn't been feeling well since yesterday due to a cold, and she'll look at me with her pathetic eyes and say "Mama" until I pick her up. She gets quite whiny when she's sick and has wanted to be held all day. At one point, I put her in her baby carrier, so I could get some things done around the house.

We saw our first real wildlife here this week. There were 5 baboons wandering around the houses on the school campus. We were quite close to them, and Torsten was pretty excited to see them. Several were large, and several looked like babies.
