A full house

We had 9 people over for dinner last night, so with the four of us, we had 13 people at our table, which is a record for us. It was a little crowded, but worked out fine and everyone had a nice time. One thing I enjoy about living here is that we have friends over for meals much more than we did in the States, probably because the pace of life just isn't so hectic. Since driving at night isn't safe, there really isn't anywhere to go in the evenings, especially when school is out of session and there aren't school activities going on.

The holiday season is much less hectic than at home also, because there aren't all the parties, programs, and other events to go to. This is really a welcome change, as Christmas is much less stressful here.
