Kammie Turns One!

We celebrated baby Kammie's first birthday this week. It's hard to believe how fast that first year has gone by. It's been fun to watch her grow from a tiny baby to a little individual with her own personality. She had a great time at her party. We had some friends that she really likes over for dinner. She wasn't sure about trying her piece of cake at first, but by the end she had it everywhere, including her hair. Her favorite present was a new sippy cup. She wouldn't let go of it the whole evening. We also got her a little battery operated dog that walks and barks. I bought it from a little shop in the London airport on our trip back here. The shop had various little animals (dog, rabbit, pig, etc). walking around on the floor making their noises. Kammie was very fascinated by them, so I thought a little dog would make a nice present for her. She liked the dog when she opened it, but she started crying when Torsten turned it on and it started walking towards her and barking. It took her a while, but she is now having fun playing with it.
