Happy Thanksgiving!

We enjoyed celebrating Thanksgiving today with 2 other families here. We had a wonderful traditional dinner of turkey and all the usual trimmings. One of the men who came has a background of working as a clown while he was in seminary some years ago. He brought along his kit to make animals out of balloons for the kids, which our kids thought was great. Since Thanksgiving is not a holiday in Kenya, work at the hospital carried on as usual, but I was fortunate to be able to have the day off.

Here are the kids' lists of what they're thankful for this year, in the order they listed them:

Torsten - Mommy, my backpack, my Max (stuffed dog), my toys, my sisters, my Daddy, my house, my train, my cars, my tent, my room, my clothes, my actions figures, my videos

Torrie - my cousins, Aunt Treva, Mommy and Daddy, Kammie, Torsten, my shoes, my socks, my ducky blankie, my church dresses, my church shoes, my dollies, my animals, my bed

Here are some pictures from the day.
