Sick Kids

Torrie still loves her thumb!

It seems like we didn't accomplish much this week because both kids were sick. On Tuesday, Torrie woke up from her nap, and I could feel that she had fever. So I checked her temperature, and it was 102 degrees. The next day she was 103.6, and it continued for four days. She was more cranky than normal, but still eating well and still playful. I finally took her to the doctor here on Friday, where all checked out fine. She's now been fever free for 24 hours, so it must have just been a virus.

Torsten has had a cough for nearly 3 weeks now. It got much worse this week though. He started coughing all night long and had some low grade fever. So, he got a trip to the doctor as well, and was started on a course of antibiotics. He's seeming better now. He surely is cranky and whiny when he doesn't feel well. I'm glad to have my happy little boy back.
