Kammie is Walking!

Kammie has been on the verge of walking for weeks, but finally today decided to take her first steps. I was a few steps away from her holding her favorite ducky blankie, when she decided to walk towards it and get it. She's still crawling more than walking, but I'm sure it won't be long before she'll be walking everywhere.

Torsten reached a milestone today also - he got his first loose tooth! He bit into something really hard, and then said his tooth hurt, so we're not sure if that is what caused it or if it would have become loose anyway. Anyway, he's excited that he will be losing a tooth soon.

Torrie never fails to humor us with all of her questions and comments these days. She recently came up to me out of the blue and asked "Mommy, is Barak Obama going to be our next president?" It was definitely not a question I was expecting, and I had to ask her to repeat it to even figure out for sure what she said. I've never had a conversation with her about Barak Obama, but she obviously has been listening to the conversations around her. She loves to wear pretty dresses, especially pink ones, and will complain if I make her wear something she doesn't want to. This morning I made her wear a dress that she didn't want to wear, and a little while later she said "Mommy, my head hurts. I think this dress is making my head hurt." She keeps life interesting around here!
