Baby Torrie turned one today! It's hard to believe we've had her for that long, and yet it's hard to imagine our family without her. We invited another family over for dinner last night to celebrate her birthday. We had pizza for dinner since that is one of Torrie's favorite foods. She had a pink teddy bear ice cream cake, made by Mommy, which she really enjoyed eating. Her favorite presents were a baby doll and a little stuffed cat that looks like Yoshie. She definitely knew something special was going on and got very excited about all the attention. She also got excited about the balloons we had around for decorations.

Torrie has reached two more milestones as well. Tooth number six is now coming in, and she stood up on her own, not holding on to anything, today for the first time. I think she'll be walking before long. She's a real sweetie, and we are thankful for the year we've had with her in our family.
