Happy Thanksgiving!

We have had a busy week here. We had Thanksgiving dinner with 4 other families at the Wagner's home. We had the traditional American meal of turkey with the usual trimmings, and had a very nice time. That evening the annual spiritual life conference began, for all of the AIM missionaries in Kenya. It is always held here at our school, and several hundred people attended. The main speaker was a pastor from England, who was quite good. So we were attending meetings for 4 full days. One of the fun things they had at the conference was a big garage sale, in which anyone could set up a booth and sell whatever they wanted. I was able to find a number of used videos, games, and books for the kids, which they have enjoyed.

Unfortunately, Torsten got sick with a stomach virus during the conference, so we missed some of it due to being home with him. He was running high fever, and wasn't himself at all. Fortunately, Torrie didn't get sick at all. Torsten is now much better, but still has a diaper rash that doesn't want to go away.

We've been getting ready for Christmas here. We bought a very small artificial tree in Nairobi and had fun decorating it with the kids.
