A Merry Christmas!
We had a very enjoyable Christmas here. On Christmas Eve, we attended a party for the whole station, which was very nice. The Christmas story was read while the kids did a live nativity. Torsten dressed up as a shepherd, and Torrie and Kammie were angels. I wasn't sure if Kammie would sit still to be in the nativity, but she actually did great, except that she wouldn't leave her angel halo on her head.
On Christmas morning, Torsten woke us up at 5:15 AM, eager to open his stocking. We managed to make him wait until around 6:30 AM, when we were all awake. We opened stockings and presents with the kids in the morning. They are at that age where they are thrilled over everything, so they had a fun time. We then had a Christmas brunch with some friends and had a nice time with them. We had our own Christmas dinner in the evening at home. I roasted a turkey, and we had several side dishes with it. The kids were worn out by the end of the day and went to bed early, so we were able to have a nice quiet evening at home.
